PillSeal vs MyTherapy
MyTherapy is a free medication reminder that also tracks symptoms, measurements and moods, and can produce a health report to take to an appointment. It covers noticeably more ground than PillSeal does.
The short version
MyTherapy is a health journal with reminders attached. PillSeal is a reminder that will not let you off the hook, with nothing else attached.

What MyTherapy does better
- It is free, with a genuinely broad feature set.
- It tracks more than pills. Blood pressure, weight, mood, symptoms, whatever your condition needs following.
- Reports for appointments. If your doctor wants to see how the last three months went, MyTherapy is built for that and PillSeal is not.
- Android. PillSeal is iPhone only.
What PillSeal does that it does not
- The reminder is an alarm. MyTherapy reminds you with a notification, which silent mode and Focus will suppress. PillSeal uses a real iOS alarm that sounds anyway, and returns until you take the dose.
- Confirmation that means something. Marking a dose taken in any app is a tap. PillSeal asks for a short, calm camera moment instead.
- Nothing leaves your phone. MyTherapy syncs through an account. PillSeal has no account and no server.
- Supply tracking. PillSeal counts your remaining pills down and warns you before you run out.
When MyTherapy is the better choice
- You are managing a condition where the medication is only part of what needs tracking.
- You want to hand your doctor a record at the next appointment.
- You are on Android, or you want the app free.
When PillSeal is the better choice
- Missing doses, not recording them, is the actual problem.
- Your phone is on silent or in Focus for much of the day.
- You would rather your health data never reached a server at all.
